May Day with sales of plants and use of Trampers loaned by Lancashire County Council.

Marker posts for the new nature trail in Smallholdings Wood were paid for by LCC Green Partnerships.
They were made by Offshoots and the tops were carved by Lancashire and Cheshire Woodcarvers.

Heritage Lottery Fund Celebration weekend to mark completion of the HLF 5year funding project, where 3.2million pounds have been spent on park improvements. The celebrations included a procession with a band and students from Unity College; a Teddy Bears picnic on the lawn; a heritage quiz and a Hog Roast and Ball.

Bird Feeders were bought for Riverside Carpark thanks to funding from Calico.

Heritage and Woodland day at Towneley with borrowed Mobility Scooters from JayCare and Shop Mobility in Burnley.

Puppet theatre made and puppets bought. Held an event in the summer holidays for children to launch the theatre in the Wild About Burnley Gallery in Towneley Hall

Visit to Offshoots with School children from Brunshaw, Springfield and St. Stephens to and learn about permaculture and plant potatoes and sunflowers.

Children’s activity afternoon – Art in the Park in the summer holiday, making mosaics., through funding from LCC Green Partnerships.

Bulb planting with school children around the top of the Lime Avenue and at Barwise carpark.

Purchased and installed benches and picnic tables at Riverside car park.

The Aeroskate was installed at the children’s playground by the Riverside carpark, with funding from Veolia.
